Connections in the app

Open Connections in the Sqquid app to manage the external systems linked to your Account. These include your POS or inventory source, ecommerce stores, marketplaces, and shipping services.

This page covers the app’s controls. For credentials, setup steps, supported features, and troubleshooting, use the Connection guides.

The list shows each Connection’s system, name, enabled state, and available actions. Tags such as Products, Inventory, Orders, and Returns identify enabled sync features. They do not indicate the direction of synchronization; check the Connection’s settings and guide for that detail.

Select a Connection’s name or Actions > Manage to open its settings.

  1. Find the system in the cards below your existing Connections and select Connect.
  2. Follow its authorization or credential-entry steps. Use that system’s Connection guide for the required details.
  3. Open Setup, review the checklist, and complete the missing settings.
  4. Enable the Connection when it is ready to begin normal synchronization.

Available systems and the number of Connections you can add depend on your Account type and subscription. Choose your product and inventory source before adding sales Connections. For Shopify Channels Hub Accounts, follow the Hub guide.

Each system has its own settings. Depending on the Connection, you can:

  • Change its name, update credentials, or Reconnect to renew authorization.
  • Choose product and inventory sync behavior.
  • Map external locations to Sqquid Locations.
  • Configure supported order, return, or shipping options.

Use the relevant settings tab, make your changes, and select Save where shown. Enable, disable, and authorization actions have their own controls.

The Connections documentation explains each setting and which features the system supports. For example, see Shopify settings, RunIt POS settings, or EasyPost settings.

Open the Connection and select Disable connection, then confirm. Sqquid stops using it for configured syncs until you select Enable connection again. Disabling keeps its configuration and does not disable the external store or service.

For supported POS Connections, Actions > Update catalog lets you request another product import. Choose a recent modification window or All Products (!), then select Resync. The import is scheduled for processing.

This action requires an enabled Connection and may be unavailable while it is busy. Use the POS guide to decide when an import is needed. To send products to a sales Connection again, see Sync and resync.

Use Actions > Delete, or Delete connection within its settings, and review the confirmation before proceeding. Deletion removes the Connection from Sqquid and stops future syncs. It can also remove its associated product records in Sqquid.

Use Disable connection if you only need a temporary pause. Before removing a product or inventory source, read its Connection guide because other workflows depend on it.
