BigCommerce products and inventory
Sqquid can create and update BigCommerce products and variants, including supported descriptions, categories, images, prices, and stock.
Choose who maintains product fields
Section titled “Choose who maintains product fields”Use Product data flow to choose which fields Sqquid may send:
| Preset | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Sqquid managed | Sqquid creates products and updates supported fields. |
| Connection managed | Sqquid can create products, then leaves later content changes to BigCommerce. |
| Custom | You choose which fields Sqquid sends on creation and on later updates. |
Inventory can continue syncing when BigCommerce owns the listing content. Sqquid always includes weight in its product payload, so the field matrix does not offer a weight switch.
Match existing products
Section titled “Match existing products”Use the same stable SKU for each sellable variant in BigCommerce and Sqquid. Optional ALU/UPC fallback provides extra identifiers for matching.
Before enabling a full sync, check one existing product to confirm that Sqquid updates the intended listing.
New-product defaults
Section titled “New-product defaults”Automatic enrollment adds future source products to the Connection. Choose Full sync if Sqquid should create or update listings, or Inventory only for stock updates to existing listings. Default visibility controls whether newly created products start visible or hidden.
Changing these defaults does not update the enrollment of products already in Sqquid.
Inventory locations
Section titled “Inventory locations”With inventory by location off, Sqquid sends one pooled quantity. With it on, map each participating Sqquid Location to a different BigCommerce location.
Check the quantity at each mapped location after the first sync. Location mappings and buffers affect the result.
