Troubleshoot MCP
Start with the error from the AI application. Then use the matching section below.
The AI application cannot connect
Section titled “The AI application cannot connect”Check the server address:
https://mcp.sqquid.com/mcpThe client must support MCP version 2026-07-28. Sqquid rejects legacy protocol versions. The client must use Streamable HTTP and POST requests.
See Protocol and client compatibility.
The browser does not open for authorization
Section titled “The browser does not open for authorization”- Check whether the AI application blocked a pop-up.
- Open the connection settings.
- Start authorization again.
- Complete the Sqquid sign-in within 30 minutes.
If the problem continues, remove the Sqquid connection from the AI application. Then add it again.
The authorization is invalid, expired, or revoked
Section titled “The authorization is invalid, expired, or revoked”Authorize Sqquid again from the AI application.
Do not paste the access token into the conversation. Do not send the token to Sqquid support.

Call
account_whoami. Show the selected Organization and Account.
If the Account is wrong, authorize Sqquid again. Select the correct Account on the approval screen.
An approval or browser action does not continue
Section titled “An approval or browser action does not continue”The assistant must retry the same tool. It must use the same arguments.
Start the tool again when:
- the request is more than 30 minutes old.
- the assistant changed an argument; or
- the browser action did not complete.
A tool returns queued
Section titled “A tool returns queued”queued does not mean completed.
For Connection imports, call connections_get. Check that last_sync has the job type and start time for your request, then read its status and error. An older completed job is not evidence that the new import finished.
For a product export, call products_get. Check the export state and the last error.
A Connection cannot be enabled
Section titled “A Connection cannot be enabled”- Call
connections_readiness. - Read every failed check.
- Correct the failed checks.
- Call
connections_readinessagain. - Call
connections_enableonly when no failed check remains.
Warnings do not block the tool. Review each warning before you continue.
Amazon and Walmart do not have MCP readiness checks. Review those Connections in the Sqquid app.
An integration cannot be added through MCP
Section titled “An integration cannot be added through MCP”Call connections_catalog. Find the integration. Read its supported and auth values.
If supported is false, add the Connection in the Sqquid app.
A plan limit blocks a change
Section titled “A plan limit blocks a change”Call account_limits. Review the limits for Connections, locations, and monthly orders.
To review or change the plan in the app, use Settings > Billing.
The source Connection does not count toward the Connection limit. Sales, marketplace, and service Connections do count.
A location cannot be deleted
Section titled “A location cannot be deleted”The location can be in use by:
- an order routing rule; or
- a Connection location map.
Remove the reference first. Use routing_get to check routing. Use connections_settings or connections_map_locations to check the location map.
