Settings
Section titled “Settings”New Connections start in test mode, even when no test key was supplied. Test mode requires the test key; it does not use the production key.
Add package presets and review automatic rate selection, cost limits, label format, and address checks. Complete the required Setup checks and enable the Connection. Test mode is a warning, so it does not block enabling.
See EasyPost settings.
Sync behavior
Section titled “Sync behavior”With a test key stored, request rates and buy a test label through Fulfillment. Check addresses, package details, and label format.
When ready for real shipments, select Switch to live mode. Live mode uses the production key and purchases real labels billed through EasyPost. Test labels do not become valid shipping labels when you switch modes.
