Lightspeed X online orders
Orders start on a sales Connection such as Shopify, TikTok Shop, Walmart, or Amazon. Sqquid imports and routes the order, then creates a closed sale in Lightspeed X.
Sale destination
Section titled “Sale destination”Every exported order needs an Online order outlet and an open Online order register. Lightspeed uses that register as the source of the sale.
Sqquid looks up each item in Lightspeed by SKU. The export stops if an item has no SKU or no exact Lightspeed product match.
Sqquid also matches the customer by email or phone when possible. If it cannot find a customer, it creates one with a Sqquid customer code.
Taxes and discounts
Section titled “Taxes and discounts”Sqquid uses the selected outlet’s default tax for taxable lines. A zero-tax line uses the Lightspeed tax named No Tax when that tax exists. Item discounts are sent as price overrides.
Cross-outlet fulfillment
Section titled “Cross-outlet fulfillment”Cross-outlet fulfillment is on by default. With it enabled, Sqquid sends the routed outlet on each sale line. A line can be split when its quantity is allocated across more than one outlet.
This requires:
- Cross-outlet fulfillment enabled in Lightspeed X
- Every fulfilling Sqquid Location mapped to a Lightspeed outlet
- Full allocation of every order item
When the setting is off, Lightspeed deducts inventory from the selected online-order outlet instead.
