Troubleshoot Shopify Channels Hub
Start on the Shopify Channels Hub Connection’s Setup page. It shows failed requirements, warnings, and the most relevant settings page for each item.
The Connection cannot be enabled
Section titled “The Connection cannot be enabled”Complete every failed item in Setup. Warnings explain optional or recommended configuration, while failed items block enabling the Connection.
Shopify authorization and at least one mapped location are required. The Setup page also reports whether Sqquid has recorded a successful product import.
Shopify authorization is missing or expired
Section titled “Shopify authorization is missing or expired”- Open Shopify Channels Hub.
- Select General.
- Select Reconnect.
- Sign in to the correct Shopify store and approve access.
- Return to Setup and confirm that authorization passes.
If Shopify does not allow the installation, confirm that your Shopify user can manage apps.
Products are not importing
Section titled “Products are not importing”Check the following:
- Shopify Channels Hub is enabled and authorized.
- A successful product import appears in the Connection history.
- The product is available to the connected Shopify app and has imported successfully.
- Shopify variants have stable SKUs when they must match products on other Connections.
- Recent product imports do not show an error.
Inventory is incorrect or not updating
Section titled “Inventory is incorrect or not updating”- Confirm that Shopify Channels Hub is the inventory source for the Account.
- Check that the expected Shopify and Sqquid Locations are mapped.
- Make sure each Shopify location appears only once in the map.
- Review Dynamic Buffers and routing rules if online availability differs from Shopify inventory.
- Check recent synchronization errors before making a manual correction in multiple systems.
An order from another Connection is missing in Shopify
Section titled “An order from another Connection is missing in Shopify”- Confirm that the originating sales Connection imported the order into Sqquid.
- Review that Connection’s order eligibility and filtering settings.
- Confirm that the ordered SKUs match the Shopify variants imported by Shopify Channels Hub.
- Check whether routing found an eligible mapped Location.
- Review order synchronization history for an error when Sqquid tried to create the Shopify order.
If the order is already in Sqquid with Skipped status, fix its export error and follow Retry skipped orders. This retries sending the existing order to the source system.
Fulfillment work is assigned to the wrong Shopify location
Section titled “Fulfillment work is assigned to the wrong Shopify location”- Confirm that the physical store or warehouse is mapped to the correct Shopify location.
- Review and preview the Account’s routing rules. Compare the preview with the inventory available when the order was routed.
- Check whether the location mapping changed after the order was created.
- Review the order history before moving the fulfillment manually in Shopify.
