Lightspeed X products and inventory
Lightspeed X owns product and inventory information for this type of Account. Sqquid imports that information and makes it available to your ecommerce and marketplace Connections.
Product information
Section titled “Product information”Sqquid imports supported Lightspeed data, including:
- Products and variants
- Product and variant SKUs
- Names and descriptions
- Brand and category information
- Variant options
- Prices, including tax
- Product and variant images
Sqquid groups Lightspeed variants under their parent product. A product without variants is imported as a single sellable variant.
Inventory by outlet
Section titled “Inventory by outlet”Inventory by location is always on for Lightspeed X. The location map pairs each Sqquid Location with one Lightspeed outlet.
Only mapped outlets can supply usable location inventory. If you import a Lightspeed outlet as a new Sqquid Location, check its address. Sqquid can create the Location with a temporary address when the outlet address is incomplete, but you should correct it in Settings > Locations before using geographic routing or shipping.
Ongoing updates
Section titled “Ongoing updates”Sqquid registers Lightspeed webhooks for product and inventory updates during authorization. It also supports full product and inventory synchronizations. Changes in Lightspeed are queued and processed in Sqquid, then passed to eligible sales Connections.
Dynamic Buffers and order allocations can make online availability lower than the physical stock imported from Lightspeed. Review those rules before treating a lower published quantity as a sync error.
