Troubleshooting

Start with the affected Account and Connection. Check where the change stopped before editing data or starting another sync.

If one product, order, or return is affected, start with its topic below. If many records stopped updating on the same Connection, start with Connection checks and sync activity.

  • Troubleshoot products for missing or incorrect products, inventory differences, and products deactivated after sync failures.
  • Troubleshoot orders for missing orders, store assignments, fulfillment eligibility, and skipped order exports.
  • Troubleshoot returns for missing returns, submission problems, and skipped return exports.
  • Check sync activity to find the relevant run and decide what to do when it is absent, running, failed, or completed.

For the shared retry rules, see How Sqquid handles sync failures.

  1. Open Connections, select the Connection, and review Setup.
  2. Confirm that it is enabled and authorized. Reconnect if authorization has expired.
  3. Check sync activity for the affected import or export, including whether any sync started after the change.
  4. Follow the result’s next step and the provider-specific checks below.

The Healthy label on a Connection means it is enabled. It does not confirm that every sync succeeded. A completed source import also does not mean the update has reached every sales Connection. Check the destination’s export and the affected record too.

Choose the system involved in the failed step:

Email help@sqquid.com if the error is unclear, no relevant sync appears, work seems stuck, or the result is still wrong after the suggested checks. You can ask for help even when there is no error message.

Copy this template and fill in what you know. Leave out fields that do not apply. One affected example is enough to start investigating.

For inventory issues, include the quantities in both systems for the same SKU and Location. Find the Sync ID if one is available. A screenshot of the error or incorrect value can also help.
