Setup Guide overview
After you register for Sqquid, the Setup Guide appears on the Dashboard and in the main menu. It tracks the work needed to get products, inventory, and orders moving through your Account.
The guide checks your Account as you work. You do not have to complete everything in one session.
Follow the setup sequence
Section titled “Follow the setup sequence”| Step | Priority | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Connect your product source | Required | Gives Sqquid the system that owns your products and inventory. |
| Add your locations | Required | Tells Sqquid where stock is held and orders can be fulfilled. |
| Connect your first sales channel | Required | Gives Sqquid a place to publish products and receive orders. |
| Run your first imports | Recommended | Creates the product and inventory records Sqquid will use. |
| Set up order routing | Recommended | Decides which Location should fulfill each incoming order. |
| Set up fulfillment and shipping | Optional | Adds EasyPost label purchasing to the Fulfillment area. |
| Set up Dynamic Buffers | Optional | Holds back selected inventory from online availability. |
Complete the required steps first. Recommended and optional steps have Skip for now, so you can return to them when the workflow applies to your business.
How progress works
Section titled “How progress works”Most goals complete automatically when Sqquid finds the related live setup. For example, the sales-channel goal completes when at least one sales Connection is enabled.
The import goal also has Mark as complete. Use it after you have checked that automatically imported products and inventory appear correctly in Sqquid.
Completing every goal does not hide the guide. Once the required goals are complete, use the close button if you no longer want it on the Dashboard or in the main menu. You can reopen it at any time from Help & Support.
If a required part of the setup later becomes incomplete, Sqquid shows the guide again.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”Have administrator access to each system you plan to connect. You may need store domains, API credentials, or permission to install an app.
Confirm which system will be the source of truth for products and inventory before you connect any sales channels.
Start with Connect your product source.
