Shopify Channels Hub orders and fulfillment
Shopify remains the central order system when you use Shopify Channels Hub. Orders received from your other sales Connections pass through Sqquid and are created in Shopify.
Order flow
Section titled “Order flow”An order from a connected marketplace or storefront follows these steps:
- The sales Connection sends the eligible order to Sqquid.
- Sqquid matches the ordered items and applies the Account’s routing rules.
- Sqquid creates the order in Shopify without sending a Shopify customer receipt.
- Shopify remains the operational order record for your team.
Order eligibility is normally controlled by the originating sales Connection. Review that provider’s guide when an Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, or other order does not reach Shopify.
Routing and mapped locations
Section titled “Routing and mapped locations”Sqquid can apply routing rules and move Shopify fulfillment work to mapped Shopify locations. Location mappings connect Sqquid’s routing decision to the corresponding Shopify store or warehouse.
If routing assigns an order to a different mapped location, Sqquid updates the related Shopify fulfillment work. Continue fulfillment in Shopify or through the workflow configured for your Account.
Returns
Section titled “Returns”Shopify remains the central system for Shopify-side order activity. Return behavior for an order from another sales Connection depends on the originating provider and the return workflow configured for your Account.
Review the originating Connection’s guide before processing a marketplace return outside its normal workflow.
See Shopify Channels Hub settings for the controls described on this page.
