Check sync activity
Use Syncs in the Sqquid app to see whether Sqquid has started moving information between systems. Start with the affected Account, Connection, and the approximate time of the change.
Find the relevant sync
Section titled “Find the relevant sync”- Open Syncs. Select All types and All to avoid hiding work with an old filter.
- Use the type dropdown to narrow the list to the work you need. Check a source import for data missing from Sqquid, or a destination export for data missing from an ecommerce or POS system.
- Check Created against the time you made the change. A sync from before the change cannot confirm that it was sent.
- Select View beside a run to open its details. Check that it relates to the affected Connection. The list’s CI ID identifies the Connection; if you cannot identify it, give support the Sync ID and the Connection name you are investigating.
- Select Refresh to fetch current results. Use the page controls to look further back if needed.
To focus on errors, select With errors. Switch back to All when checking whether work is running or whether a later attempt succeeded.
Decide what to do next
Section titled “Decide what to do next”The status icons show a clock for Running, a cross for Failed, and a check mark for Completed.
| What you find | What to do |
|---|---|
| No relevant sync | Confirm the Account, clear the type and error filters, and check that the Connection is enabled and configured for the work. If no relevant sync appears, contact support with the Connection and time of the change. |
| Running | Work is still in progress. Refresh and check the result after it finishes. If it remains running and you are unsure whether it is progressing, send support the Sync ID. |
| Failed | Open the details and read any error information. Check the affected product, order, or return for its error message, then follow its recovery guide below. |
| Completed, but the result is missing or incorrect | Confirm the run relates to the correct Connection and started after the change. Review its details and the affected record. A source import finishing does not confirm that a destination export finished. |
Sync duration varies with the provider and the amount of work. Contact support if progress is unclear; you do not need to wait for an error to appear.
Read an error and choose the correction
Section titled “Read an error and choose the correction”View opens a details panel with the sync’s ID, type, date and time, and technical data. Error information can appear in that data. You do not need to interpret every field to ask for help.
The affected record often has a more useful message:
- Product errors appear on the product’s Error badge for the selected Connection.
- Order errors appear through the warning icon in Orders.
- Return errors appear through the warning icon in Returns.
Use the message to identify where the correction belongs. Fix source-owned product data in the source system. Fix authorization, mapping, or destination settings on the affected Connection or in the destination system. If the message is missing or unclear, contact support with the Sync ID instead of guessing.
Confirm recovery
Section titled “Confirm recovery”After correcting the cause, follow the relevant guide to resync a deactivated product or retry a skipped order or return. Fixing the external system alone does not restart those records.
Check the new attempt and the destination record. A queued retry, a disappearing alert, or an older completed sync does not establish that the correction reached the destination. For inventory comparisons, use the same SKU and Location and account for any applicable buffers.
If the result is still wrong, include what you expected, what each system shows, and the latest Sync ID in your support request.
