Walmart products and inventory
Walmart’s default Inventory Only Sync updates stock for existing seller SKUs. It does not send prices or create offers.
Inventory-only matching
Section titled “Inventory-only matching”Use the same seller SKU in Walmart and on the Sqquid variant. Enable the product and relevant variants for synchronization.
Sqquid sends the pooled available quantity for each enabled variant. Dynamic Buffers reduce the total when the Connection is configured to apply them. Inventory updates use the seller SKU directly; UPC or GTIN matching belongs to the full-sync workflow below.
Full sync and offer matching
Section titled “Full sync and offer matching”For products configured for Full sync, Sqquid first looks for an existing Walmart catalog item using the variant’s ALU identifiers. It can send an offer-matching feed with the seller SKU, price, and weight, then update inventory.
A usable identifier is a 12-digit UPC or 14-digit GTIN. Sqquid removes non-digit characters before checking it. Variants without a valid identifier or a matching Walmart catalog item are skipped during offer matching.
The offer needs a price greater than zero. Sqquid uses a positive special price when present, otherwise the regular price. Keep weight accurate in the source.
Full sync matches Walmart catalog items; it does not build a new Walmart catalog item from arbitrary product content. Confirm the intended offer and identifiers before switching an existing product to full sync.
Check the result
Section titled “Check the result”Offer-matching feeds take time to process. Review the finished sync and any item errors before retrying.
For inventory-only sync, check the seller SKU and stock result. A price remaining unchanged is expected in this mode.
