Troubleshoot Lightspeed X
The Connection cannot be enabled
Section titled “The Connection cannot be enabled”Open Setup and complete every failed item. Lightspeed authorization, at least one location mapping, and an online-order outlet and register are required.
Sales permissions are missing
Section titled “Sales permissions are missing”Open General, select Reconnect, and approve the current permission request. Sqquid needs customer, outlet, register, sales, tax, and user access to create online sales.
Products or inventory are missing
Section titled “Products or inventory are missing”- Confirm that the Connection is enabled.
- Check the latest product and inventory synchronizations.
- Confirm that the product has a SKU and is not a Lightspeed system item.
- Confirm that each expected outlet is mapped.
- Review Dynamic Buffers if published availability is lower than on-hand stock.
A sale did not reach Lightspeed
Section titled “A sale did not reach Lightspeed”- Confirm that every order item has a SKU that exactly matches Lightspeed.
- Confirm that Sqquid routed and fully allocated every item.
- Check that the selected register still exists, belongs to the selected outlet, and is open.
- Confirm that the outlet has a default tax.
- If cross-outlet fulfillment is on, map every assigned Sqquid Location.
If the order is already in Sqquid with Skipped status, fix its export error and follow Retry skipped orders. This retries sending the existing order to the source system.
Inventory was deducted from the wrong outlet
Section titled “Inventory was deducted from the wrong outlet”Check Use cross-outlet fulfillment. When it is off, Lightspeed uses the online-order outlet. When it is on, check the order allocation and each location-to-outlet mapping.
