Bulk changes

Use selections and the bulk action bar to change many products in one pass, and CSV export/import to review or prepare changes in a spreadsheet.

Select parent products. Actions include their variants where appropriate.

  • Check individual rows, or use the header checkbox to select the whole page.
  • Select the full page to reveal Select all matching products. This includes matches across pages, up to 10,000 parent products. Narrow the filters if you have more matches.
  • Changing the search, filters, or tag clears the selection.

With rows selected, the bulk action bar appears with Resync, Edit Selected, and Delete Selected.

Select Edit Selected, choose a field and action, and review the preview. Apply it to stage pending changes in the grid. Use Undo or Discard if needed, then select Save. See Edit product fields.

Available fields and actions:

Field Actions
Attribute values (variants) Set, Clear, Find & Replace, Fill Blanks
Attribute labels Set, Clear, Fill Blanks
Categories Add, Edit, Remove, Replace All, Clear All
Brand Set, Clear, Find & Replace, Fill Blanks
Price Set, Increase/Decrease by Amount, Increase/Decrease by Percentage
Compare At Same as Price, plus Clear
Description / Short Description Set, Clear, Find & Replace Text, Fill Blanks
Sync Enable Sync / Disable Sync
Status Publish Products / Move to Draft
Sync Mode Use Full Sync / Use Inventory Only

The dialog previews how many records the change will affect before you apply it, and warns if an attribute change would create duplicate variant combinations. Price adjustments are rounded to 2 decimal places and never reduced below 0.

Resync queues every selected product family to be pushed to the Connection again, and works with all-matching selections too. See Sync and resync for what a resync does.

Delete Selected permanently removes the selected products, their variants, and related inventory and queued sync data from Sqquid. The connected store keeps its products.

Export CSV downloads the current page, or its selected products, using the visible columns. It also includes Product ID, Parent ID, and Row Type for importing changes later.

  • Export covers one page at a time, up to 100 parent products plus their variants with the largest page size. It can’t be used with an all-matching selection.
  • Inventory is not included in the CSV in either direction; quantities belong to the inventory source of truth.
  • Values are exported as stored values (for example full_sync, visible) rather than display labels; import accepts either form.

For inventory quantities or ALU identifiers, use Settings > Exports.

Import CSV updates existing products by Product ID. It does not create products. Export the current page, edit the file, and import it back. Only columns included in the file are read.

Review the import preview for changes and row errors. Confirming adds pending edits to the table. Select Save to write them.
