Troubleshoot RunIt POS
Start on the RunIt Connection’s Setup page. It shows whether connection details are present, the most recent successful product synchronization, and the current shipment and return settings.
The Connection cannot be enabled
Section titled “The Connection cannot be enabled”Open General and confirm that both fields are complete:
- Store ID contains the RunIt store identifier.
- API URL contains the full HTTPS endpoint, including the
.dllpath.
Remove accidental spaces and save the settings. If the values are present but RunIt still cannot be reached, confirm them with the person who administers the RunIt account.
No products were imported
Section titled “No products were imported”Check the following:
- The Connection is enabled.
- The synchronization history shows that the product import started.
- The Store ID and API URL point to the intended RunIt account.
- Only import items marked “Sell on the Web” is not excluding the expected styles.
- RunIt contains eligible styles and variants.
If you are performing the first import, run Import inventory before Import products.
Too many or too few products were imported
Section titled “Too many or too few products were imported”Review Only import items marked “Sell on the Web” on the Products page.
- When on, only styles carrying the RunIt web-sale marker are included.
- When off, all eligible styles returned by RunIt can be included.
Changing the filter affects future imports. Review previously imported products separately; excluding a style from later imports does not establish that its old records or external listings were removed.
Product names, brands, or categories look wrong
Section titled “Product names, brands, or categories look wrong”Review these RunIt product settings:
- Product name prefix, source, separator, and capitalization
- Add size/color to product name
- Short description source
- Category depth and capitalization
- Default and custom brand capitalization
Correct the settings before publishing the affected products to additional sales Connections.
Prices are incorrect
Section titled “Prices are incorrect”- Confirm the selected Base price source.
- Confirm the selected Special price source.
- Check Apply timed sales to special price if an active RunIt sale is replacing the configured special price.
- Inspect the source values in RunIt before correcting the imported product manually.
Inventory is missing or incorrect
Section titled “Inventory is missing or incorrect”- Confirm that the inventory import completed.
- Check that the product SKU or barcode matches the RunIt inventory record.
- Confirm that the expected RunIt stores exist in Settings > Locations.
- Review Dynamic Buffers if online availability is lower than RunIt on-hand inventory.
- Check whether Sell on the Web filtering excluded the item from the inventory request.
An online order did not reach RunIt
Section titled “An online order did not reach RunIt”- Confirm that the originating sales Connection imported the order successfully.
- Review the order’s routing result and location assignment.
- Check for an order-export error in Sqquid.
- Confirm that the RunIt Connection is enabled and reachable.
- Verify that every order item has an identifier RunIt recognizes.
If the order is already in Sqquid with Skipped status, fix its export error and follow Retry skipped orders. This retries sending the existing order to the source system.
A shipment did not update RunIt
Section titled “A shipment did not update RunIt”- Confirm that Shipment sync is enabled.
- Confirm that the original order reached RunIt successfully.
- Check that Sqquid recorded the shipment against the correct order items and location.
- Review the shipment synchronization error before trying again.
A return did not reach RunIt
Section titled “A return did not reach RunIt”- Confirm that Export returns is enabled.
- Confirm that the original order was successfully processed in RunIt.
- Check that the return quantities do not exceed the related order quantities.
- Verify that Sqquid has the RunIt receipt and store information for the order.
- Review the return synchronization error for the affected return.
