Product and synchronization tools

Product records belong to Connections. The same SKU can have a separate product record on each Connection.

Synchronization directions

POS source → connections_import_products → Sqquid
POS source → connections_import_inventory → Sqquid
Sqquid → products_export → the product record's sales Connection

Do not use products_export to import a product from a POS source.

products_get

Read one product and all its variants.

Requires products:read. Read-only.

Input	Required	Description
id	Conditional	Product or variant ID. This value takes priority over sku.
sku	Conditional	Exact SKU. Use it when id is not available.
connection_id	No	Limits a SKU search to one Connection.

Supply id or sku.

A variant ID returns the parent product and all variants.

If one SKU exists on several Connections, the tool lists the matches. Call the tool again with connection_id or a product ID.

The result includes synchronization mode, export state, the last error, price, brand, visibility, URL, and variants.

products_errors

List products and variants whose last synchronization failed.

Requires products:read. Read-only.

Input	Required	Default	Description
connection_id	No	All Connections	Search one Connection.
limit	No	25	Parent products per Connection. Minimum 1. Maximum 100.
page	No	1	One-based page number for each searched Connection.

When connection_id is absent, the page and limit apply to every Connection separately. Read by_connection to find each total and has_more value.

The tool returns the original synchronization error message. Use that message to identify the cause.

products_export

Queue one product for export from Sqquid to its sales Connection.

Requires products:write. Queues background work.

Input	Required	Description
id	Yes	Product or variant ID from products_get or products_errors.

A variant ID queues its parent product. Repeated calls are safe.

The product record determines the destination Connection. To export the same SKU to another Connection, first find that Connection’s product record.

The result status is queued. Do not report that the export is complete. Call products_get later and check the export state and last error.

Import from a POS source

Use these Connection tools:

• connections_import_inventory queues a full inventory import.
• connections_import_products queues a full or recent product import.
